In May 2019, Dishita Shah launched Krimakay after spotting a clear gap: parents across India wanted beautiful, thoughtfully designed children's clothing — but finding it meant hopping between dozens of small independent designers with no single trusted home.

Meanwhile, India's talented independent kidswear designers — creating everything from hand-crafted ethnic wear to bold contemporary prints — had no shared platform that truly respected their brand identity.
